Pride Art

A few weeks ago I donated a piece of art to the Pride of Greenville Men's Chorus for their annual fund raiser. The art was auctioned off to help raise money for PoGMC. This year I painted a distressed pride flag on wood.

PoGMC is the only gay chorus in the state of South Carolina! Please check out the wonderful work these guys are doing. Here is a link to their website!

Prop Sail and Mast

Today I built part of a ship for a project. It needed to feel like an old vintage ship and I only needed a small portion since the camera would be so close. It was a lot of fun to figure out the sail and trying to match the research from the web. After it was finished I went back and aged the fabric so it didn't look so new. The hardest part was finding the right size log to use as the mast. Once I found it, I striped off the bark, stained and aged the log adding a fake iron strap that I made and natural rope. Everything turned out great and photographed well!

Hibbett Sports In Progress Shots

Here are some shots of me working on the Hibbett Sports Ad campaign. I made the giant mannequin thumb based on the photos of real thumbs being used in the series. Then I dressed the mannequin in sports gear. All the jerseys were cut in the back and pinned to give the look of fitting. It was a great project to work on!

Hibbett Sports Campaign

Here is a preview of a Hibbett Sports campaign I worked on a few months ago. The 6 ft thumb I built was fun to work on and a challenge to fit into the sports gear. Check out the link below to see some of the thumbs!
