Hexagon Lightbox for Photo Shoot

Below are a few pictures of a lightbox I made for a Shaw photo shoot.

Here is the finished frame of the lightbox before adding in the white fabric. I had to build it in two pieces because the finished size is to big to fit through the studio door.

Here are the end caps that fit on the hexagon to make it fit with the straight wall edges.

Setting up the walls and hexagon for the photo shoot.

Finished photo.

Melting Coffee Table for Shaw Carpets

A few months ago I built some furniture, props and sets for a Shaw Contract Group photo shoot. One of the pieces I built was a melting coffee table. I made the frame out of wood and added Apoxie Sculpt on top to achieve the melting look. Below are some progress shots ending with the finished photo.

Backdrop Painting

Today I started on a backdrop painting that will be used in a series of ads. The painting is not full size, but will be photographed and added in post. It is about 8 ft wide by 4 1/2 ft tall, so it's not small. Very excited about this project! Getting to put my illustration skills to good use.

Finishing the Dangerous Tool Props

He's a sneak peek of one of the tools that I have altered. I know it's not much, but I will share more when I am allowed.

Dangerous Tool Props

Spending time this weekend working on turning these tools into weapons for a photo shoot. I'm having to recreate these tools in other materials since I'm not able to alter the actual tools. The agency ask that I return them in the same condition as they arrived to me. I love challenges like this! I feel it makes me a stronger problem solver in the end.

Over the last few weeks I have finished a couple of huge projects that have kept me super busy, but before that I finished a small prop project. Below are some quick pics of the photo shoot.

Trade Show Hook Installed

A few months ago I built a hook to be used for a trade show display. It needed to marry a real truck with a floor graphic. Below is a photo of the show display installed in the hall. I've also added a sketch of the hook and how it will work with the display. Then a photo of the finished hook.
